Dominant viola strings project well, have an easy bow response, and remain stable under extreme atmospheric conditions. These strings have a highly flexible multi-strand nylon core which produces a full and rich sound. The success of Dominant owes a lot to its similarity in tone and response to gut strings, without gut's inherent drawbacks. We recommend using a Dominant C, G, and D with a Larsen strong A string (our preferred set for violas).
